Minister Vivek Venkatswamy Attends Municipal Election Preparatory Meeting at Narsapur
Medak District, Narsapur | January 20: State Minister Vivek Venkatswamy visited Narsapur in Medak district on Tuesday and participated in a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Narsapur Municipal elections. DCC President Anjaneyulu Goud and several Congress leaders were present at the meeting.
Addressing party leaders and cadre, Minister Vivek Venkatswamy said that the notification for the municipal elections is likely to be issued on the 25th or 26th of this month. He stressed the need for early clarity on candidates and categorically stated that there should be no infighting or dissidence among party leaders.
The Minister said that the Congress party believes in delivering development on the ground. “While the BRS government sought votes by merely showing papers, the Congress government is bringing funds and seeking people’s mandate through real development,” he said.
Recalling past electoral experiences, the Minister said that even in Jubilee Hills, where Congress was initially considered weak, the party emerged victorious. “Narsapur is not like that. Congress is strong here, and we will certainly win the municipal elections,” he asserted.
He advised party leaders to give opportunities to candidates who enjoy public confidence and are seen as ‘winning horses’ among the people. He called upon all party workers to work collectively and with coordination to ensure a decisive victory for Congress in the Narsapur Municipal elections.
