Foundation Stone Laid for Integrated Sub-Registrar Office Building
Hyderabad, Jan 28: Labour & Employment Mines and Geology Minister Dr. G Vivek Venkatswamy along with Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy laid foundation stone and launched the works for the Integrated Sub-Registrar Office building on Wednesday. Bhoomi Puja was performed at Khardhanur village in Patancheru Mandal on this occasion. The programme was attended by MLC Anji Reddy, TGIIC Chairperson Nirmala, Food Corporation Chairman Faheem, senior officials, public representatives and local leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy said that he has a personal association with the Patancheru Industrial Area, recalling that he earlier had a company there and used to visit the area regularly. He stated that during those days, land disputes forced people to run around courts frequently. He said that the state and the country can progress only when land-related disputes are resolved effectively.
The Minister alleged that during the BRS regime, the Dharani system was misused, leading to several irregularities, including extra and illegal registrations. He pointed out that a large number of people visit registration offices for buying and selling land, and to ensure that citizens do not face any inconvenience, the Congress government has introduced the Bhoobharathi system. He said this new system is aimed at providing transparent and hassle-free land administration and resolving all land-related issues.
The Ministers reiterated that the Congress government is committed to providing people-friendly, transparent and efficient land governance across Telangana.
