Medak Must Top State in Praja Palana Implementation: G. Vivek Venkatswamy

Medak, March 6:
G. Vivek Venkatswamy, Telangana Labour, Employment and Mines Minister, directed officials to ensure the comprehensive implementation of Praja Palana programmes across the undivided Medak district as part of the State government’s 99-Day Action Plan. He instructed the authorities to take all necessary steps so that Medak district secures the first position in the State in the effective execution of these initiatives.

The Minister issued the directions while chairing a review meeting at the Integrated Collectorate Office in Medak on Friday. He announced that another review meeting would be conducted within the next 30 to 40 days to assess the progress made on the issues discussed.

The review meeting covered the districts of Medak district, Sangareddy district and Siddipet district. It was attended by Medak MP M. Raghunandan Rao, Zaheerabad MP Suresh Shetkar, Medak MLA Mynampally Rohith, the Collectors of the three districts, officials from various departments and other public representatives.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had formulated the 99-Day Action Plan to make the government machinery more proactive and to ensure improved public services across the State. Nearly ten key issues related to development and welfare programmes were reviewed during the meeting, with officials presenting updates on their progress.

Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy directed officials to prioritise the effective implementation of major schemes such as the Indiramma Housing Scheme, drinking water supply projects, development of educational infrastructure and solar lighting initiatives. He also urged public representatives to expedite works related to ATC construction, establishment of substations and tourism development projects in the district.

The Minister stated that work on sports stadia in the district would commence soon and instructed officials to closely monitor the progress. He also directed authorities to accelerate de-silting works in the Singur Project to ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply.

With the summer season approaching, he advised officials to identify alternative water sources to meet the drinking water requirements of the region. The Minister further instructed departments to speed up development works under the AMRUT Scheme and ensure that the State receives adequate funding from the central government for these projects.

He added that the Congress government is committed to fulfilling the promises made to the people and that the 99-Day Action Plan will help accelerate the resolution of public issues while strengthening the functioning of the government machinery.
