CM Revanth Reddy Thanks Voters for Jubilee Hills Win, Urges Opposition to Support Development

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy thanked the people and Congress workers for the party’s victory in the Jubilee Hills by-election, saying the result shows public support for the government’s work over the last two years.

He said Congress won 51% of the votes, while BRS got 38% and BJP 8%. “This victory increases our responsibility. People have clearly supported our development plans for Hyderabad,” he said, highlighting projects like metro expansion, elevated corridors, Musi River revival and Godavari water supply.

Revanth Reddy accused the BRS of running fake campaigns and criticized Union Minister Kishan Reddy for not cooperating with the state on pending funds and approvals. He invited him to the Secretariat for discussions and urged him to “change his approach”.

The Chief Minister also told BRS leaders Harish Rao and KTR to “reduce jealousy and arrogance”, reminding them that power is not permanent. He said Congress’s vote share has steadily risen — from 39.5% in 2023 to 51% now.

Revanth Reddy asked opposition parties to cooperate for Telangana’s development and called on media houses to avoid spreading misleading information.
