SBI Mutual Fund launches AI-powered digital platform ‘InvesTap Nxt’
Mumbai: SBI Mutual Fund (SBIMF) on Thursday announced the launch of InvesTap Nxt, a next-generation digital investment platform designed to offer investors a more personalised, conversational, and data-driven investing experience.
The launch follows the recent rollout of SBIMF’s AI-powered WhatsApp chat companion “SmartAssist,” which has now been enhanced and fully integrated into the InvesTap Nxt platform.
Powered by advanced artificial intelligence, conversational investment journeys, and Account Aggregator (AA) integration, InvesTap Nxt enables investors to view and manage their financial portfolios in a more intuitive and consolidated manner. The platform provides easy-to-understand insights and access to financial data across multiple products and institutions through a secure, consent-based framework.

A key feature of InvesTap Nxt is its conversational interface, which allows investors to ask questions, explore investment options, and track portfolio performance in natural language. The AI engine interprets user intent, analyses portfolio data, and delivers personalised insights aligned with individual financial goals.

The platform supports guided investment journeys, enabling users to discover products, invest, and manage portfolios through simple conversations instead of navigating complex menus. 360-degree portfolio view via Account Aggregator
InvesTap Nxt is integrated with India’s Account Aggregator ecosystem, allowing users—subject to consent—to securely aggregate financial information across banks and investment institutions. This creates a comprehensive portfolio overview called the “Wealth Index.”
The Wealth Index helps investors assess overall financial health, evaluate risk, and understand asset allocation while retaining complete control over their data. Going forward, it will also provide portfolio scores based on risk levels, diversification, and investment objectives.
